Answer: Fred Jordan Missions, founded in 1944, is a non-profit, faith-based, educational and relief organization committed to meeting the physical and spiritual needs of hungry, homeless, and poverty stricken people, especially mothers and children in the inner-cities of America and around the world.
2. Question: How do I arrange for my church, service club or myself to serve as a volunteer at a Fred Jordan Missions event?

3. Question: Does Fred Jordan Missions accept donations of food, clothing, toys and gifts in kind?
Answer: Yes. The Mission gladly accepts donations of all kinds from individuals, churches, temples and corporations. You may either bring your donations directly to the Mission or to our corporate office. Answer. Yes. We provide emergency food bags daily to individuals and families in need.
5. Question: Does Fred Jordan Missions provide shelter for men, women and children?
Answer: The Mission, located at 5th and Towne in Los Angeles, provides shelter for men only. However, we have access to community resources that provide shelter for women and children.
6. Question: Does Fred Jordan Missions accept vehicles and boats for a tax-deductible donation?
Answer: Yes. The items are sold and the funds used to help needy families. Call us at (626) 915-1981 for more information on this program.

Answer: Yes, online. You may also call (800) 96-4-FOOD to give your donation by phone.
8. Question: Is the administrative office for the Mission separate from Fred Jordan Mission on Skid Row?
Answer: Yes. The Mission’s administrative office is located in Covina, CA 91722. The Mission is located in downtown Los Angeles.
9. Question: What are Fred Jordan Missions’ major “on the street” events?
Answer: There are several. The Mission’s primary outreach events are: Easter’s Festival of Life; Back to School Day; Mother’s Day Street Banquet; Mother’s Make-Overs; Thanksgiving Day; The Harley Toy Run; Christmas Celebration on Skid Row.
