:: A Child's Theology ::

A little girl has misbehaved, and as a punishment, at suppertime, her parents put her at a small table by herself in the corner of the dining room.

The rest of the family paid no attention to her, until suddenly they heard her praying over her meal with these words; “I thank You, Dear Lord, for preparing a table before me in the presence of my enemies!” Out of the mouth of babes!

Well, even though the little girl may have pushed her theology a bit to her own liking, it does prove one point: Bible verse memorization does make an impact on children—and adults.

What’s your favorite verse of Scripture? When did you learn the verse? Chances are it was as a child.

That’s why this verse is so profound: Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he or she is old, they will not depart from it. This is something to put into practice with your own children.
