:: Boxes of Hope ::

More than 840 million people around the world go hungry every day. It’s easy to imagine hunger in some far away third-world country, but to admit that 35 million Americans are hungry, and more than 13 million of them children, is to confess that we have a responsibility to act.

The Mission’s response to hunger on such a massive scale is its Boxes of Hope campaign. With more than 400,000 hungry people looking to the Mission for their “daily bread” each year, it is clear that more must be done.

Boxes of Hope will be filled with urgently needed food and other survival items, providing real Hope to hungry families and children in “pockets of poverty” throughout the nation.

The Boxes of Hope campaign is an ideal way for churches, businesses, schools, service organizations, and individuals to partner with us to help alleviate hunger through our Boxes of Hope.

Whether you want to participate as an individual or as a group, there are ways you can get involved:
  • Sponsor completed Boxes of Hope by donating much needed funds to help fill and distribute to families. Your tax-deductible donation of $25 can provide 1 box to save the lives of an entire family -- both physically and spiritually.

  • Organize a Drive on your campus, at your church or in your workplace. You may choose to fill empty Boxes of Hope, or to collect food in barrels and the Mission will fill the Boxes of Hope. The Mission will supply the empty, collapsed boxes, or barrels, donation envelopes, posters and barrels. (Arrangements may be made to pick up boxes/barrels, if volume warrants.

  • Download your Starter Packet and complete an Involvement Form to make a difference in our community today!
Hunger harms all of us. Our children are growing up hungry in the richest nation on earth, and hunger among our seniors hurts their ability to stay healthy.

Please join us today in meeting the needs of those who are without the bare necessities of life. Thank you!
