  What is Charitable Giving
Charitable giving is providing something for someone or a group of people that helps better their economic and/or spiritual condition. Charitable giving comes in many forms, from giving financially to an organization that helps needy people to volunteering at a host of ministries and non-profits that help poor people. It is important to support charities because most all charities rely on donations in order to serve, help, and minister to those in need. In fact, most all non-profits rely on support from individuals, corporations, churches, etc. in order to operate.

For ministries like Fred Jordan Missions, charitable giving makes key events possible throughout the year, including the Thanksgiving Day Banquet, which feeds over 2,000 people annually with a home-made turkey dinner, a Christmas program where over 12,000 underprivileged children receive a new toy for Christmas, an Easter celebration where each family receives an Easter basket full of food, a Mother's Day meal along with mother's make-overs, underprivileged kids' summer programs and camps, and more. All of these events and programs would not be possible without charitable giving by individuals and groups.

Since 1944, Fred Jordan Missions has always been dedicated to providing food, clothing, and most of all love and care for those living on the streets where there is no hope. The staff and volunteers at Fred Jordan Missions ministers to the homeless in both practical ways and spiritual ways, bringing hope where there is only despair.

Reach out and touch those who need you most through charitable giving for needy families. We would like to ask you to consider supporting Fred Jordan Missions for any event or special program offered throughout the year, providing gifts and hope to those less fortunate. Thanks for touching a life.
