WHAT'S THE POINT?
WHAT'S THE POINT?
Why help those who have lost their way – those suffering in the darkest places of addiction, homelessness, and despair?
If people are overdosing right at the doorstep of Fred Jordan Missions, aren't they beyond hope?
This heart-wrenching question of “What’s the point?” was posed to me directly, and my answer was a simple yet powerful truth: Jesus is the point.
For over 80 years, Fred Jordan Missions has faithfully stood as a beacon of hope, called to feed, clothe, and share the life-changing love of Jesus with those the world has forgotten.
From its inception by my father, Fred Jordan, and his 45 years of compassionate service, to my mother's tireless daily work after his passing, to today, as our devoted "TEAM JESUS" continues to carry the sacred vision and calling forward – we love relentlessly and help free those trapped in addiction, bondage, and unbelief.
Every day, we witness miracles – lives rescued from the brink of death. Like Victor, a young man gripped by a fentanyl addiction, who pleaded with our Mission Pastor, David, to help him survive another day. Or the unnamed woman, homeless and vulnerable, who sought shelter at our Mission's doorway, yet still a precious soul longing for a second chance. These dear ones are not statistics or lost causes – they are our brothers and sisters, created in God's image, yearning for kindness and a path back to Him.
YOUR GENEROUS GIFT TODAY IS MORE THAN CHARITY. IT'S A LIFELINE.
It feeds hungry bodies, clothes hurting hearts, and restores hope where hopelessness has taken hold. It breaks chains of addiction and builds lives transformed by grace.
Please open your heart and stand with us.
Help us bring healing and love to those who feel invisible and forgotten. Together, we can shine God's light in the darkest corners of Skid Row and beyond, and remind every struggling soul that they are not alone.
GIVE TODAY. HELP US HELP THEM.
With deepest gratitude,
Joe Jordan
President/Senior Pastor
