1. Pray the window of heaven opens Prayer is not just a formality; it is the frontline of this Mission. Scripture assures us that "the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much," reminding us that our prayers truly move the heart and hand of God. Meet Greg, who used to sleep on concrete and eat whatever he could find. Now, he stands as living proof of change. People prayed for him-the broken, the addicted, the forgotten—long before they even knew his name. Today, Greg says, "Fred Jordan Missions is God's right hand on the streets." He believes that, because someone prayed, God reached into his darkness and pulled him into the light. Now he stands where he once stumbled. Your prayers are part of the story Heaven is writing over lives like Greg's. |

2. Serve compassionate hands extended Prayer naturally leads to serving. When we talk to God about people, God often calls us to action. Week after week, friends from Legacy City Church in Los Angeles have been coming to the Mission to serve. They help in the kitchen, in the food lines, in the chapel—wherever there is a need. Recently, men from Legacy City Church brought shaving cream and razors. Simple, basic items, yet for a man who has been on the streets for weeks, they represent dignity, respect, and motivation. Imagine what it means for a guest who has been sleeping in an alley to be greeted by a smiling volunteer, handed a warm meal, and then given the chance to shave, clean up, and feel human again. Greg now serves alongside volunteers from Legacy City Church and Team Jesus. Together, they serve as living proof that God has not forgotten the men and women of Skid Row. When you serve, you become part of God's right hand extended to others. |

3. Give a hope that does not run out. Prayer and serving are essential, but they depend on faithful giving. Without the resources to keep the doors open, the lights on, and the meals prepared, there is no place for Greg to come in from the cold, no table for Legacy City Church to serve at, and no hub for God's right hand to operate from. Many of our guests live in makeshift cardboard "homes" that fall apart in the rain. While cardboard isn't durable against storms, your generosity helps us build something that is. Your gifts provide hot meals, clean clothing, basic hygiene items, and, most importantly, ongoing gospel ministry. Because of people like you, men like Greg have hope. Because of people like you, the Mission can continue to serve as a lighthouse in a sea of addiction. poverty, and despair. It is the gifts of faithful partners that change people's lives day after day, year after year. |

Today, I extend a clear invitation to you: - PRAY for the "Gregs" still on the street, that they would find Jesus and trust Him.
- SERVE if you are able, by coming to the Mission and being part of God's right hand extended in love.
|
- GIVE as the Lord leads, so that the gospel can continue being furthered and Heaven can keep rejoicing over every life transformed.
Heaven Opens, Hands Extend, and Hope Prevails
