FRIENDS, Long before today’s national spotlight and campaign sound bites about “cleaning up Los Angeles,” Fred Jordan Missions was here on Skid Row—loving, feeding, and sharing Jesus with the poorest of the poor.
Today, every politician has a plan: more beds, more housing, more task forces, and more five‑step programs to tackle addiction and homelessness. The news shows the tents, the needles, and the bodies on the streets.
What those cameras cannot capture is what we see on our sidewalks every day: men and women staggering like zombies, openly using hard drugs, half‑naked and broken in broad daylight; fights erupting over nothing; sirens and body bags at our doorway.
“You cannot smell the stench of human waste, or hear the screams at 3 AM, in a campaign commercial.”
That is why, after 80 years, we continue to share Jesus and the hope of the Gospel with people because He is the answer. |

Through wars, recessions, epidemics, and now this homeless crisis, one thing remains constant: Fred Jordan Missions does not take one dollar of local, state, or federal government funding. We are supported 100% by God’s people—friends and partners like you.
The government can hand out clean needles and Narcan, and they can talk about housing and treatment beds. But most politicians do not offer what we know is the only real solution: a life‑changing encounter with Jesus Christ.
We do not look to City Hall or Sacramento for answers. We look to Jesus—and we ask that He would put it on your heart to help today.
God bless you,
Joe Jordan Fred Jordan Missions |

P.S. I have been deeply moved by the outpouring of texts, emails, and messages from so many of you about my Mom's passing. Hearing how her compassion and love touched lives in such meaningful ways has been both humbling and comforting. Many have asked how they can help, and I truly believe there is no greater tribute than to support the very people she devoted her life to serving. In doing so, her legacy of love and care continues to live. |

thank you for your prayers, your love, and your support during this very difficult time. |
