Dear Friend . . .
My mom, Willie Jordan, went home to be with Jesus peacefully on Saturday, June 13th.
At 93 years old, after a beautiful life of faith, an amazing marriage to my father Fred, seven children, and decades of serving people around the world with the love of Jesus, my mom finished her race well.
It is hard to put into words who she was.
She was powerful, compassionate, dynamic, generous, loving, and full of faith. She loved Jesus deeply, and she lived that love out every day — through her family, through Fred Jordan Missions, and through the countless lives she touched.
Almost nine years ago, my mom trusted me with the honor of leading Fred Jordan Missions Ministries. It has been one of the greatest blessings of my life to carry on the work that my mom and dad began in 1944.
More than 82 years later, the vision and legacy continue.
Every meal served, every family helped, every child cared for, and every person reached on Skid Row is part of the legacy my parents gave their lives to build — declaring and demonstrating the love of Jesus to those who are hungry, hurting, hopeless, and in need.
